Included Managed Services With Dedicated & Colocation Plans

NetSource provides a certain level of managed services that are included with each of our dedicated and colocation hosting plans. If you have one of these services with NetSource, then you already have our standard level of managed services outlined below:

  • 24/7 emergency phone and pager support for your dedicated or colo services.
  • 24/7 physical access to hardware for colocation. Access to dedicated hardware by appointment.
  • Administrator level access to your server so you have full control over server's features.
  • Ping monitoring of server or gateway with pager alerts to our team and your team.
  • Bandwidth monitoring with customer login. Real-time graphs of data and bandwidth use.
  • Hardware repairs on any dedicated server hardware that fails during your contract term.
  • Re-installation of the OS to pristine state per customer's request.
  • Remote hands including power cycles, inserting CDs, and visual reporting.
  • DNS hosting with My Account login management. DNS support for 10 domains.
  • 1 hour of System Admin technical help during the installation of your server.
  • 2 hour or less SLA response time to begin addressing server issues.

Fully Managed Hosting Service

Fully Managed Hosting Package - First Server - $189.00 Per Month

The fully managed service package is tailored for dedicated and colocation hosting customers to provide everything they need to have a near hands-off hosting service. It includes features that customers need for reliability and security in their environment. This service can be added to any colocation or dedicated hosting account that needs this level of management. This service includes the following features.

  • All the features of the standard managed service package above are included here
  • 0.5 hours of general system administration assistance per month, no rollovers
  • Managed hardware firewall - Juniper SSG5 or Cisco 5505 model - Unlimited IPs
  • Daily data backups - 500 GB - R1Soft Incremental full image backups standard
  • Server patch updates performed quarterly (must be supported by operating system)
  • Remote power reboot - 2 outlets included for your server
  • Virus scanning on server to prevent new and old viruses
  • Extended server/service health monitoring (unlimited TCP/IP pings, CPU, RAM, disk, vital applications)
  • Pager alerts to NetSource and optionally to customer for triggered events
  • Initial SLA response goes to 1 hour or less to start addressing customer issues
  • NetSource handles alerts based on customer pre-defined protocols
  • Hardware repairs on all dedicated systems (does not apply to colocation hardware or software)
