Every Good Web Company
Starts With A Vision, A Plan, And A Strategy.
Did you ever wonder why one company makes millions of dollars online each year while other companies struggle to sell a single item? The Internet is a fair playing field where everybody has the same opportunities - isn't it? ....Not exactly.
The truth is a website that sells a product or service is still a business. Companies who plan for their success are usually the companies who achieve their online goals. NetSource can help your business with it's web/internet strategies. This process includes budgeting for a websites development, marketing, and upkeep costs. The process also includes market research to help you determine your chance of success before you even start the design phase.
Below are just a few of the processes that NetSource follows to ensure a successful web strategy plan for your company:
Initial Consulting - Planning
After the free initial consultation NetSource will meet with your company to discuss your vision in more detail. During this meeting NetSource will ask a number of questions that should help us understand the products, services, and goals our client wants to achieve on the web. The main objective of this meeting is to determine where a client is now, where they want to end up, and how they want to get there. The details of the plan are then mapped out for the client so that they can make intelligent decisions about the future of their company and the web. This information may include things like figuring out the chance for success and/or budgeting information. At this point a client may choose to move forward or stop a plan depending on the feedback and information generated. If the plan is accepted by the client, both parties move into the implementation stage.
Implementation Of Plan
Depending on the plan that was developed, the implementation stage may include web design, custom web development, e-commerce, hosting, access, marketing or everything combined. The most important part of the implementation process is keeping accurate statistics about the execution and determining if goals are being reached. This includes tracking marketing data, revenue, profits, or even the economy to make sure that the plan is on track and the goal is in sight. After the plan has been implemented both parties will move into the Review stage.
Review Of Plan
This is the most important stage in a web strategy plan. During this stage NetSource will talk to the client and discuss the goals/objectives that have been achieved, and the reasons leading to these successes. NetSource will also discuss the areas of the plan that did not meet or exceed the expected goals. The entire process is aimed at one objective - Do more of the good and less of the bad through testing. Sounds easy, but without the proper tools in place to collect data and statistics your business could be spinning it's wheels for years before you see any profits. This is only a general overview of the process and the approach NetSource takes to meet our client's goals - call us at (630) 778-1212 to take the next step.
NetSource's Web Strategy Experience
NetSource's experience comes from the hundreds of Chicago land companies we have worked with since we started in 1995. During this time we have seen ideas that have worked and ideas that were not worth repeating. From our experience we created a plan that will help us help future web strategy clients. It's not mirrors or magic why one business succeeds online while the other business fails. It comes down to planning a strategy that is realistic and will generate a positive return on your investment. NetSource can help.
NetSource believes that every Internet venture or website should start with a good strategy. The concepts are simple - set goals, align with existing business processes, measure results, and then improve the strategy and execution. Unfortunately, the development and execution of your Internet strategy is not so simple. You need professional help. That's were NetSource comes in. NetSource can help you develop a Web Strategy so that you know exactly where you are going and where you will end up. The old saying "If you build it they will come" should be revised to say "If you develop a web strategy and then built it, they will come".
